Working with Nikki means knowing what happens next. From your first conversation to the signing of your Marriage License, the process is clear, thoughtful, and professionally managed.
The level of planning and customization depends on the ceremony package you choose, but every couple can expect warm communication, careful attention to the legal details, and a calm, capable presence on the wedding day.
Clear Communication
You will know what is required, and when. Communication will be clear about what Nikki needs from you, and what to expect at each stage. There will be no unnecessary confusion or last-minute scrambling.
Calm Preparation
Nikki arrives prepared, confirms the legal details, and helps create a grounded atmosphere so you can remain present for the moment instead of managing it.
Confident Officiating
Your ceremony will be delivered with warmth, clarity, and care. Nikki will guide you through the legal requirements, support the natural rhythm of the ceremony, and make sure the moment feels both meaningful and reverent.
You provide a valid Ontario Marriage Licence and two witnesses. Nikki takes care of the officiating, signing, and submission of the completed paperwork.

A brief, meaningful legal ceremony for couples who want to be married simply and sincerely, without a customized ceremony script.
This ceremony is approximately 10 minutes and includes the legal requirements of an Ontario marriage ceremony, your personal vows, and the signing of your Marriage Licence.

Space for vows written by the couple
Signing and submission of the Marriage Licence

A warm, thoughtfully written ceremony for couples who want something personal, polished, and unmistakably their own.
Nikki will get to know you, create your ceremony script, and guide you through the planning process so you can feel prepared and present when the day arrives.

Through Nikki’s Sacred Story process, your ceremony may include meaningful memories, reflections from family and friends, cultural or spiritual traditions, and a custom poetic closing written especially for you.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS
A Few Thoughtful Extras
Some celebrations need a little more time, support, or coordination. These options can be added when they are not already included in your ceremony package.
Additional Rehearsal Time
Perfectly Planned and An Incredible Celebration include a rehearsal of up to 60 minutes. Additional rehearsal time may be arranged when needed.
Marriage Preparation Conversation
For couples who want to enter marriage with greater intention, a private virtual conversation can be added before the wedding. Nikki will guide you through practical questions about communication, expectations, shared priorities, and protecting the relationship you are building.
This is relationship education and preparation, not therapy or counselling.
Witness Support
Couples are normally responsible for providing two adult witnesses. When advance arrangements are possible, Nikki may be able to help coordinate witnesses for a simple legal ceremony.
Travel is included for ceremonies within 60km of Nikki’s Durham Region base. Additional travel, parking, accommodation, or venue-related costs are discussed and confirmed before booking.
All services require a 50% non-refundable retainer to reserve your wedding ceremony date and time.

Your Vows Should Sound Like You
Your vows are among the most personal words you will speak on your wedding day, which is precisely why they can be so difficult to write.
You do not need to sound poetic, formal, or like anyone else. You simply need help finding the honest words that belong to the two of you.
Couples who choose Perfectly Planned receive vow-writing guidance, while An Incredible Celebration includes private vow review and support. Couples who would like more independent help can also use the Vow Vault, a guided, conversation-based tool that helps you shape vows that feel natural, meaningful, and unmistakably yours.
The Vow Vault can also help you write a private love letter for your first look, wedding morning, anniversary, or another moment you want to honour in writing.
